Tim & Rachel {Chicago Engagement Photographer}

I have to start this post in Tim’s own words… this is how the happy couple met:

“Both members of the University of Illinois Cross Country and Track & Field teams, Tim was first drawn to Rachel his first week of college when he had the pleasure of conversing shortly with her at a White Trash themed party. Somehow the running mascara and fake tattoo caught his eye. From then on, Tim had a knack of proclaiming his attraction to Rachel to the rest of the cross country team nearly every chance he got. Rachel obviously caught wind of this news and did not like to hear this at all. Not one bit. But a year later, as Tim was no longer the dorky freshman, his charm grew on her and she couldn’t help but feel the chemistry as well. A few casual dates had Rachel swooning with love.”

Seriously, when I read Tim’s account I truly laughed out loud, and during the whole engagement session I could see why Rachel loves Tim… he makes her laugh out loud too!:) These two are just super super cute together and obviously perfect for one another. Not only that, but the locations that Rachel chose for their session were absolutely breathtaking. We started out at the Alfred Caldwell Lilly pond then walked over to the North Shore beach for the most perfect sunset you’ll ever see… pink, orange and just yummy!

This is what I walked up to at the Lincoln Park Conservatory… just a day where everyone wants a piece of it!

We started the session at the lily pond… I think you’d have to be made of concrete not to feel the romance at a lily pond!

This field of flowers was lining the walk… sigh

Rachel and I have something in common… we both love peonies! I was so excited she brought this bouquet along:)

I told you… yummy light!

Rachel’s father made this chalkboard! It was so heavy… literally like 10 pounds! ha

Hazy, lazy summer day skyline

Again, I love the way Tim makes Rachel laugh…

Rachel & Tim, so glad to be your wedding photographer!!
