Haley & I have a few things in common… she has Midwest roots with California wings… Ok, that’s not me, but I wish it was! haha I am a little jealous that her and Clayton are living in LA;) We both love shoes, our guys and the SUNSHINE. So, when their day rolled around and so did the thunderclouds it’s fair to say I was a bit disappointed and frankly a little worried! I had nothing to fear though. This couple, so focused on the real meaning of the day, pulled off change after change of plans without a hitch! Their positive spirits, love for each other and general easy going attitudes helped us all relax and sit back in amazement. I also was just struck by how lucky these two were to have found each other. I mean, let’s face it, life is full of more fierce storms than any we could face with a little thunder and rain swirling around us that day. It struck me that this is what makes long, happy marriages… the ability to weather those storms with grace and trust and love for each other.
