Frances- Paris, The Marais

My concept on this shoot was not over-planned, maybe just an outlet for personal reflection. Again, in the theme of my Paris pictures, I only had my 35mm camera and there was no stylist, hair, makeup etc for Frances. I shot in the hallway of my residence and really enjoyed attempting to create a bit of visual poetry. I find these kinds of impromptu projects harder to publish because they’re very imperfect and unfinished in a way and have very little to do with my normal wedding work, but on my journey to learn both more about my art and myself, it’s as important to me to try something that is more of less poetry of the heart. All shot on a Canon 1V with Fuji Superia 1600, Kodak Tri-x 400, and Fuji 400h.

I love her dress! If you know where she got it, I’d be very interested. :) Beautiful work, Kina. Thank you for sharing — especially for its “imperfections”.ReplyCancel
