I feel like Christine & Kevin are old friends by now. First of all, I photographed the wedding of Christine’s best friend and matron of honor, Jessica last year (post here) who I also love dearly. Second of all, due to a family tragedy, Christine’s wedding was postponed from last year to this, and so I have had plenty of time for long chats, lunching, and an occasional cup of coffee with Christine. From the moment I met her, I felt like she was a kindred spirit… and by saying that I’m giving myself a lot of credit, because she is beautiful inside and out, talented, kind, and the kind of person who always brings sunshine into a room. Kevin is also someone I admired from the moment I met him. He is calm, gentlemanly, smart and generally just a really great guy.
My husband Jonathan came along on this day to assist me, and on the way home, we just couldn’t stop talking about how so many things in Christine & Kevin’s day were things we hope for our own life. Their parents were an example of warmth, love, fun, class and obvious long committed marriages. The union of Christine & Kevin was something a parent would also be so proud to see… these two are just the best you could wish for your son or daughter. We were inspired and touched by the love we witnessed and experienced.
Thank you again for allowing us into such an incredible time in your life Christine & Kevin! I look forward to seeing what the future holds for you both!
